ABOUT US

The Highway 286 East FD is an all volunteer department that was formed in 1979 in an unincorporated area of Faulkner County. Our district starts at the east city limits of the City of Conway. We cover a suburban/rural residential area, with a growing number of businesses, churches, and day cares. We also cover a US highway, and an AR highway that are both heavily traveled daily. We provide fire suppression, EMS first response, extrication, and minor technical rescue. We serve our citizens with a fleet of 2 engines, 1 tanker, 1 rescue, 1 heavy rescue, and 2 brush trucks. We have 25 members with a command staff of 8.
